Gradind Systems Are A Crock
The grading systems that most schools use are completly prejadis. The reason is mainly because i've seen so many students that are so bored in class its almost as if the have no motivation to do the work. Let me give you an example, There is a student who religiously goes to class every day he does all the work and is always ahead on the reading. On the other and there is a student that sits in the back he doesn't do the reading and hardley ever does the work. The first student manages to pull out an A- out of the class mom and dad are thrilled, however the second student manages to pull out a D. Everyones first assumption is that well, " The first ones ah Nerd and, the second ones a retard." Well then everyones wrong that first student actually has something that the second one doesn't, motivation. Motivation is the nessasary tool to becoming a succesful student, for all we know the second student could be a genius who is so demotivated by the repetative almost malignent work in the class that he feel like he should just shoot himself. I am that demotivated student and i feel like i can't ever focus on subject long enough to care about it. I am one of what i hope is millions of people who lack motivation, i mean no one wants to be the only wierdo right? I need motivation but i'm not going to take medicine, the whole problem no adays is that people don't deal with there emotions any more, and theres a pill for everything. So in the mean time I'll keep trying to find something that works.
Super Power
If you could have any superpower what would you have? I've often thought about this question long and hard, I think I would pick the power of teleportation. I mean come on who wouldn't love to see the world in a day? If i had it the first thing i would do was probably what everyone would do in that situation which is rob a bank, this would give you funds for i guess whatever you wanted to do. Then I would start enjoying that adrenaline rush you would get from having a super power like this. For instance, it would be so cool to jump of a huge building, then right before you hit the ground teleport right back to the top and start all over almost like a never ending free fall. Then I would play chicken with another car and if the other guy didn't bail out, then I would just teleport off to the side line and watch him crash and burn, ha ha ha. Yea teleportation would be my choice that would be my superpower fix.
The Need For Music
Music is something that i think almost drives life in that it has existed almost as long as we can sift back through history. We as humans are rhythmic beings we are the only living organism on this earth who can find enjoyment in shear sound. It doesn't matter what kind of music people listen to but only that they listen to music. It drives us to find every emotion that we are capable of from anger to sadness and then back to a sense of happiness. This is why i have come to believe that people should have a mandatory music class in schools even if it is only for a half year.
Learning music is to me is a way of inhibiting deeper thinking, music is proven to stimulate brain waves and also also the production of dopamine. Too add, its like a whole new subject which uses a whole new part of the brain. Someone can have a really hard time with English or math but musically can be a genius and find happiness in doing it. Basically in my opinion and music is life, and i encourage everyone to try there hand in it.

Description
Three large polls ,steel, and blue draw up from the ground converting into air and acending into a red brick colum that streches across the sky. Stairs coil themselves around the outer edge of one colum and then back around the building in the shape of an L almost like a Tetris piece. Smokers liter themselves everywhere, a wide asortment of characters from a variety of social standings yet they are all brought together like a family. While looking at the surroundings everything is a square or a rectangle, from the floor to the red brick walls. Student come and go, swaying back in forth like they all have somewhere to be and, i... i just sit there on those stairs get my seat and watch the world pass by me for a minute not carring if hell just came through the ground because this is my me time. The people around me know that life is just to long and no one wants to live to be a hundred. The air is difffrent in that it has sort of a stale smelling aroma to it, not repulsive in any way just stale like time stands still here.

Physical Distortion
Every day people are subjected to media that changes the way they think of their image of what you should look like.
In one day almost every comercial activity i was in showed people the ideal person. I walked in to a clothing store pictures of skinny women were everywhere, men with chisilled muscles lined the walls of the store. You turn on the t.v. and all you see are "beutiful" people. After reading Susan Bordo's article, The empire of images in our world of bodys, i share her rage. As the article pointed out we don't even realize how were being affected by so much corrupted media.
